Can anyone tell me what size return pump would be best for me. I have a 110 with one built in megaflow kit. which I believe is rated at max 900 gph. So should i go with 900 gph pump or go a little less just in case? Also any brand recommedations are welcomed. Thanks in advance

How much sand should I use to make my sand bed. I have a 110 gallon but it is the 4 foot long version. Around how many inches should i use. If you know the amount in pounds that would be a great help also. Should i use the same depth for the refugium also?

I have had freshwater tanks for years, and my current tank which I am disassembling has a large rock in it with lots of life. Can this be used in the saltwater tank I am setting up? I have lots of previously live rock from my friends old saltwater, but am curious if this rock is usable.

Sounds good Im getting the rocks for free so i will wait it out. Now does anyone know the process. Do I need to wash the rock with fresh water and then soak it in sea water to get the dead stuff out? Let me know the best way to do this.
