So I found a used AquaC EV-240 with a rio pump for $200. I know the pump could go at any moment, but can anything else go wrong with a skimmer? Even without the pump it still seems like a good deal to me. Anything I should look out for? Thanks

So I am planning on getting a Aquapod in the near future. I was just wondering if the 70w HQI MH lights are enough to keep all types of corals and clams, or should I get the more expensive 150w system for an extra $80 or so? Thanks for any advice you can give.
