Your lights are fine for what you want to do. I am NO expert but if you look at most Fish stores, at least in my area, they have glass bottoms. The reason being is that it is easier to take care of.

I have been told by 3 or 4 different people that sea fans are impossible to keep. But if I were you I would try to keep one anyway. Thats the only way to make sure that you can or can not keep it. And look on the bright side dead fans are COOL decorations in your take even if they die.

I have had 4. 2 died (Royal Gramma killed one) nitrate the other. I bought 2 more and they are still living. They are very non-agressive feeders so if you get some make sure everything else in the tank is rather docile. BTW my last 2 are doing fine.

I buy stuff on-line and from my pet store before they put it in their tanks. There is no difference between the 2 with the exception that fish of the net are cheaper. Sometimes you can pay an extra 5 bucks and the fish get there by 10am.

I would take it out ASAP. No sense in losing anny more money. BTW, I have 2 of them and I notice that one of them is missing 2 claws!! So I guess sometimes they fight amongst themselves.

I agree with Kris as well. I would stick to more natural methods such as snails aand hermit crabs.

I fed mine 1 krill a week it loves it! Also, I recently upgraded to PC's and the anemone almost doubled in size (LTA).

I also have those shrimp and they do fine.

I would get a Coral Beauty or a Flame Angel, they are both supposed to be hardy and they both look Cool!

I have white stuff starting to grow on the aquarium glass, its small white dots thats has a small pin dot hole right in the middle. Also, the small white dots are also on the black filters. The white spots kinda look like salt deposits. Thanks!!
