I don't really see the point of DIYing something thats only like $10 bucks. But thats just my opinion.

I used the ligite carbon from ************** and it's great. My water stays crystal clear ever since I started running it.

************** is where I got my RO/DI unit and I abosolutely LOVE it. They are really cheap and have great quality units. I used to have a Coralife RO unit and I honestly couldn't stand it. It had really bad s.c.r.e.w-on fittings that got really annoying and it was incredibly slow.

I just got a Tunze osmolator today for christmas and I can't figure out how to get it working properly. I got all of the wires and cables plugging in and the two brackets are in place, but whenever I plug it in, it doesn't fill the water high enough. It stops like 4" below where the switch is. I...

Is the pond saltwater or freshwater? If it's freshwater it's not going to cure, it has to be in saltwater.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think that when anemones die they release toxins into the tank and that is probably the cause of your dead fish.

What kind of protein skimmer do you have? Really all that you need is a good protein skimmer.

Be careful with heaters. They fail more than any other piece of equipment. You should look into a temp controller like the Ranco Temp controller.
