I did use the sand and most of the water from the previous tank. Did about a 20% water change during the move.

Just went and bought a new 75g reef ready aquarium to replace my 75g aquarium upstairs. Got everything moved and up and running and doing great. Noticed when moving everything I only had about 3 snails and 4 hermits left. How long should i wait before ordering more?

I bought a used 240g setup about 1 1/2 years ago. It came with 1-4ft power compact and 1-3ft power compact light fixture which both have 4 bulbs each. Looking at getting rid of the power compact and going to LED's. Was wondering if anyone had any info on what i should look for. Also the tank...

What kind of lighting you using? Everything looks great!

I jumped on our lifetime permit when I renewed. It was $100 but I believe it us to $125. Before that it was $40 for 4 years.

In my 240g fowlr I'm having issues with my starfish being shredded apart. Had 2 brittle and 2 serpent starfish and so far I found one of the serpent with all of it's legs removed and today I found one of the brittles with legs all over the tank. Not sure what is causing this as they've been in...

Is it brand new?? If so it usually takes a week or 2 for it to really start skimming properly.

Thank you so much for the info. I paid $170 for him. Have him in my 240g 8ft tank right now. I'll keep an eye on the agression but all is good right now.

That's the best one I could get for now. The flash makes him alot darker then he his. Can't really see his makings on his body or the light strip he has on the top of his body by his dorsel fin.

Camera battery is dead...figures, lol. I'll try and get a better picture.

I sounds like it would fit but won't give you much clearance to get the top off. Some skimmers will tell you how much clearance is needed to remove the top (or lid on my Aqua C)

The 19.9 is the height and the 9.7" x 7.5'' is the measurements of the base so you know how much room you need in your sump for it.
