Should I use Ken Tech D dip?

Ok I got alot of astrea snails but I also have alot of these new snail that looks like astrea snails coming out of no where and they have no shells so are these the same as astrea snails that just have not grow shells yet?

I just got the brittle star from this place and soon after I put it in it broke all its legs into pieces and now its got no legs and dead any idea why? Also my yellow polys are turning brown and shrinking but the button polys and mushroom are ok. thx for helping out.
