i'm running two double strip lights two actinic and two daylight 10k & 20k i'm getting alot of green algae what can i do? I was told to put one of each in each strip with certain ones on outside and certain on insides any sugg.

can you have to much lighting i've heard you can burn some leathers. im currently using coralife 10,000,20,000 marine glo 40 watt and corallife actinic40 watt :eek:

i was curious how important a skimmer filter is and is there a way if you can tell if its working right. Mine is submersed in my wetdry goo/bad
