ok the chaeto is in the fuge of my frag tank that got added during the cycle. it has been about two months since then. is it possible that it is getting to much light? i doubt that there is to little of flow because it is always moving around.

i have some chaeto in my fuge and it is turning like a white-green color. is it dying. if so what could be causing this.

DO IT!!! i just set up a 20g frag tank and it is really coming along nice. i have a 10g sump on mine. you could prob. do like a 5g fuge right next to the 10g. i wouldnt do a HOB filter for a frag tank. that light should be perfect. hope i helped a little.

star polyps are prob the easiest and fastest growing, mushrooms, zoas, xenia. those are prob the easiest. you could get away with rics, some leathers, and some LPS.

my params are fine. ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 0 ph 8.2 phosphate 0 i have a 72w over 24g nanocube.

I have a tank that finished cycling about 2 weeks ago and there is nothing in it. just the live rock, sand, and cheato in the fuge. i am going on vacation from June 29 - August 19. will it be ok if i leave it empty or do i need to do something to it.
