hey all.. setting up a new 5 gallon nano reef right now... i'm trying to find some lights, but cant seem to find anything that would be right....not looking for anything tooo crazy...i was thinking between 30-60 watt... any suggestions?

I have a cpr skimmer on my tank...I cleaned it out about 2 weeks ago, and now, it doesnt seem to be skimming much...This is very little in the colection cup. I've had this skimmer for 2 yrs now, and never had any problems with it. Any idea on why its not skimming right, now?

I have a 175 mh pendant. its time to get a new bulb, and i dont know what to get. I have a few sps, and really just looking for some nice color. I am thinking either a 20k or a 10k, or maybe some where in bewtween. what does everyone like/use? what brand? please help

Alright. I am thinking of switching my tank. Right now I have a 40 gallon reef set up. Its been up for over 2 yrs now. I want to move everything in this tank to a 20 gallon tank that i have. I really think it would look a lot better, and be a bit easier to maintain, and take up less space...

What time of day should i add B-Ionic Ca and Alk? I know it can raise ph, and i want to minimalize that......

i have my 35 gal. reef tank up for about 18 months now. The only fish I have it there right now is one clown fish and one green chroism (sp), plus various corals, and inverts/clean-up crew. i've kept the bioload small to keep my levels in check. But now all my leves are right on target...

I just traded for a pulsating xenia, and was wondering if they need any speacial feeding or anything...........
