ok, here we go. i have a 75 gallon tank. i want mostly fish only, maybe a few easy soft corals(prolly just mushrooms). i know i want a foxface. i had one the last time i had this set up (bf i moved). whats some good company for him??
Ok, i have an old excalliber skimmer that ive never hooked up. What all do i need??? all i have is the skimmer itself, no pump or tubing. Please help me with what i need and how to do it. thanks
I think my arrow crab killed my firefish. I went to feed today and he was there, w the poor little guy in his arms. do you think he did this, or the firefish was dead before???
yes. definately cover the top of your aquarium. i lost a sfe through my heater hole :(. i too would lose one of the triggers. i have a 3" niger, 2 1/2" dwarf in a 55 and they get along great. also in the take is 2 clarkii clowns.
i have close to 75lb of lr in my 75 and it looks plenty full.
make sure you invest in a good lighting system if you hope to keep and anenome. 5-8 watts per gallon i believe. i also would be careful adding the two angels together. get the coral beauty. imo its the best looking dwarf
do you use a skimmer and/or have a lot of live rock. if so any would be fine. the lr is a filter of its own, as well as the skimmer. i have seen many successful set ups that do not use a filter at all.
a candy cane goby. they are red and white alternating color. i never realized how hard a fish is to descibe. anyway, im going to try to get a pic. is he reef safe? sorry for the shotty description.
it depends on what you want to put in with them. i have a niger and he is awesome. hes the main piece in my tank. he's with a fuzzy dwarf and a couple of damsels.
