I'm getting a new 180, glass, 72 x 24 x 25 aquarium. This is going to be mainly an SPS tank. I'm gettin two glass overflows installed in each of the back corners. How many holes do you think I should have drilled for closed circulation and where???thanks :notsure:

I bought a green flower pot coral yesterday (very cool looking). I let him soak for 25 minutes, turned the lights off and put him in. 3 hours later when i turned the lights on all the polyps had withdrawn and a mucus looking stuff was hanging from the colony base??? Is it dead???

My jawfish has somehow gone a missing. I know they're jumpers so I only have 1in not covered by glass in back for the filter. I checked around the tank too. I hope I can find the guy, he was one of my favorite fish.Anyone else had problems with these guys before? :nope:

I recently had an outbreak of dinoflagellates or diatoms.....whatever they're called. It's the brown crap that covers everything else in the aquarium lol. Last night I introduced some polyps into my aquarium. At the store they were open and you could really see them well but now that they're in my tank they've all closed and I haven't seen any signs of them opening back up. Is this normal?

I recently bought a small colony of green star polyps frome the LFS. A friend of mine said that they're very fast growing and can spread very rapidly given the right conditions. Has anyone had them in the past or have any suggestions about the right conditions for them and how to propegate them?

I live in Iowa, aka....middle of nowhere and none of our fish stores carry any saltwater sharks.......any of you guys know good places i could order online......or know people from past experiences that i could go through? I'm kind of looking for a coral catshark if that helps....thanks
