I recently set up a 28 gallon reef tank and the only flow that I have in the tank is from the skimmer. I'm going to get a powerhead soon and I was wondering if one Rio 400 UL would be powerful enough. It's rated at 144 GPH...does anyone think that I need more flow than that? Thanks!

I had a featherduster that dropped its crown about 3 weeks ago and I haven't seen it since. I've heard that they can regenerate their crowns, but when I feel the tube, there's no movement at all inside. I'm not too sure that it's alive anymore. Should I take out the tube? Also, I set the tank...

Does anyone have a pic of hair algae. I think that I may have some in my tank. I got a new piece of LR about a month ago that had a tiny piece of grass like algae on it and it has tripled in size. I can't seem to find any pics of hair algae online. I'll post a pic of my algae tomorrow...

I just got a new featherduster that changes colors. I know that it sounds crazy, but its tan inner ring turns bright green and then goes back to tan after a few seconds. Anyone ever heard of that?:confused:
