I was under the impression those types of crabs were filter feeders and fed from the water column with filters they extend? I could be wrong though

I've been looking at this neat crab for awhile for my tank and am wondering about getting a couple for my reef...anyone have any experiences with them, possibly some pro's and con's? thanks a lot!

almost done acclimating...things lookin good...should I turn on the lights once they're in or leave them off for the day?

Just about to start acclimating these bad boys....Though I have a plate coral and a nudibranch....can the nudibranch go in the acclimation with the snails and conch? and the plate coral should be kept by itself right?or can I acclimate that with my ricordia? thanks...will post some pictures of...

SO I have a 10gallon sump And I want to add either a 10 or 20 gallon fuge to accompony the sump....And it'll give me a place to put a skimmer...sooo here are the before pics of my sump: this is what I'm going for afterwards...tell me what you think thanks...opinions and advice appreciated.

I was worreid about getting crabs..heard a lot of horror stories about them.. should I just nix those and get a fighting conch or queen conch and a nass or 2 too?

So far I'm thinking 10 astrea and 10 cerith snails...and MAYBE 10 blue leg hermits....what else should I get or should I make any changes?
