What do you feed pepermint shrimp? Flake food, not sure. or is there stuff on LR that they will eat? Do all shrimp eat basically the same thing?

When is it a good time to add a reef package to my 30 gal reef setup? I have got ls and lr but nothing else yet. Do I wait to get a bunch of algae build up then add them or what? Do I go to my lfs and buy a few at a time or buy a package from SWF.com or will this overload my tank?

I just bought some cured LR and put it into my tank. Is it allright to go ahead and leave lights on and try to grow coraline algae and stuff with additives, or is lights out and let it cycle?:help: oh yea there arent any fish in the tank just LS.

Ok I bought some cured lr at my lfs. Can I go ahead and use additives and lighting to get coralline algae to start growing, or should I let it set for a while and do nothing and let things cycle? Lights on or off?
