I have one and wish I didn't. It's the only aggressive thing in my tank, chases everthing that moves and is getting bigger and bigger. Anyone have any recommendations on how I can catch him?

I spoke to someone once about sand sifting stars depleting all the pods in the sand bed, he did not agree. He said that they move so slowly and it would not be possible for them to control the pod population. Do they effect the sand bed so that the pods won't multiply or do they simply ingest...

Thank you for your advise. I re-directed the head from my pump and it appears to help. I will look into a powerhead anyway as I will probably need one as I get established. Thanks again, Pat
