you should add him last because tangs can be aggressive and mean towards new tank mates so if they are added last they tend to be much less aggressive.

i used arag alive just recently and it didnt cloud even the tiniest bit. its basicaly live sand thats been manufactured and is sold at pet stores with water in the bag. comes in a variety of grain sizes.

ohh sorry for the confusion its called arag alive or something and its supposed to have millions of bacteria and its sealed with a slight amount of water. says it helps cycle tanks and things like that.

First off my tank has had a lot of brown algae growing on the rocks sand and glass. what is this caused by and what is the best way to get rid of it. also my tank has a lionfish and copperband butterfly is it safe to put that live sand in a bag stuff in to the tank while they are in it? only one...

i just posted this somewhere else but im almost positive if the fish is fully eatinj then there wont be any kind of amonia spike. yes your lion could have stung him more then likely accidentily, although if its a small or overcrowded tank purposefully.

you can definitely put other fish in but often times same species fish just cant be kept together exspecially if you dont have a very large tank.

if he was eatin then theres nothing decaying to polute your tank and raise ammonia me thinks.

how do u wash southdown sand without a big mess? And is it really necessary.

you can feed them by hand if you arent afraid of getting stung thats how i got mine to eat krill. just give him a couple fish by hand then one feeding try krill he should learn to trust you.

Is it possible to just put the eggs in a 5 gallon tank with an air stone to hatch them, and then net them out for my fish or is there anything special to do for them?

Is there any reason why i would need a double strip light for a 72 gallon bowfront with fish and live rock, instead of just a single strip light?
