haha yea my 60 gallon has run me just about 2,000$$$$$(this includes protein skimmer, live rock, fish ect.) once it was established though, it was truly worth it. and yes, the bigger the better(who am i to talk i have a 60 gal?!) good luck hope everything works out. p.s...i keep a 20 gallon reef...

yea my friend ray at our lfs said to treat the whole tank cuz the parasite was in the water. the copper is out now. unfortunatly it looks like my blue tang is rubbing against the rocks every now and then, but hes comming out more. is there anything i can do to stop the rubbing?

we treated the tank for parasites about 2 1/2 weeks ago, used copper based meds, got rid of the parasite, and the copper is almost gone using carbon filters. thanks though, do u know any other ways to get him to come out and how to keep him healthy??? i need help im really worried that the...

hi i just got a small blue hippo tang(2 1/2 inches). he comes out every now and then but usually sits behind his live rock. how do i get him to come out and how do i prevent him from gettin ich or whitespots?(i treated the tank for parasites previously with an intense copper dose) thanks...

i have a small naso tang that i just put in my tank...could i also add a small yellow tang or will they fight? thanks

we have a 125 gallon that has no lights yet. it has been running for 3 months, water is all good. could i put in a naso tang before i put lights in?

clowns would work. go for smaller fish maybe royal gramma or strawberry gramma. flame angels can work for a while as long as the tank is established and it has plenty of room to swim. and yes, watch out for the rule of thumb...dont pack in! hope things go well, 125 gal sounds boss.

could i keep a pair of gold band maroons in a 60 gal w/ a snowflake eel if i buy it small?

120 gal is an awesome tank size. there are alot of possibilities. good hardy fish could be yellow tangs for starters. some other tangs might work like hippo tangs or purple tangs. they need alot of room to swim. you could probably do some types of triggers like clown or humu humu...its really up...

yea id say no to the hippo tang...if you REALLY want a tang in there consider a small yellow tang but everything else sounds boss!

Ive posted before, just wondering if there are somewhat larger fish I could put in my 60 gallon. (maybe triggers tangs puffers...anything???????????) thanks:help:
