What is the best way to feed anenomes? I have a Haddoni Carpet. It's huge. Will it get food on it's own if I throw brine in there?

I just bought a Haddoni Carpet Anenome and I have a Maroon Clown. He hasn't taken to it yet. Will he? Is there a better anenome to get that will easier host clowns and are some types of clowns more prone to anenomes than others?
