    Cut the crap guys

If I see racial slurs on another thread, I will do my best to get the person who used them banned. Period. End of discussion. I tolerate a lot in here, but when a post goes down that far it's really just embarrassing to the board and it should be to y'all as members. Nobody cares what race you...

    Getting back into aggressives....

well, kind of at least. As some of y'all may know, I had to break down and sell my 75 and 55 tanks because of financial reasons and just not having as much time anymore. I've had a 38g that's been running for a long time with nothing ever really in it. Well, I just purchased a marine betta to...

    Snakes 'n Fish

How do you like your fimbriated? My lfs has had one for a long time, and it's mean as can be. It's probably 24" (give or take a few) and a really pretty eel. I figure I could set up a 55g for pretty cheap with some baserock that I already have. Just a simple setup. No other fish, just the eel...

    Jim, Novice, shark guys...

How long could I keep a pair of horns in a 180g? These would be the only two fish in there, nothing else. Would I need a chiller? Bo

    Cerith snail breeding...

Do these guys breed in the home aquarium? I just found two perfectly made white shells on the aquarium glass. There was also a cerith snail right there. I have two turbos and about 5 nassarius, but this shell looked way to big to be nassarius, and wasn't the same shape as a turbo....

    My 20g is now....

A species only tank for an orange spotted shrimp goby, and an unidentified pistol shrimp. The shrimp already has his burrow under a rock, and of course, the goby swam under another rock :D . I'm crossing my fingers they'll find each other sooner than later. I'll keep y'all updated. Bo

    Pistol shrimp...

Well, I finally got a pistol for my reef. He's a gorgeous little guy, and I''m yet to get a positive ID. Blue claws, red legs and antennae, red tail 'feathers', brownish-yellow body with white spots. Anyone know what species this is? Well, he already dug himself a nice burrow (and I can see him...

    'Fuge lights...

I'm going to setup a 7g minibow fuge for my 20g sometime this summer. I figure I'll need to ditch the lights it comes with. What lights should I get? The caulerpa will be a mix of razor, mini-grape, and chaetomorpha. A little liverock rubble and a sandbed. Thanks for the help. Bo

    Attn Yosemite Sam

Hey man, what's up? I was wondering, do you still have that Brazilian Flameback? How's it eating (and what.) What other tankmates do you have with him? Has he been good with corals/clams? They have a great looking one at my lfs....Bo

    Fish suggestions...

I'm thinking I might add a third, and final fish to my 20g. Inhabitants include a clarkii clown (2") and a male yellow 'coris' wrasse (3"). 20lbs fiji liverock, assorted hermits and snails. Fish I'm thinking of are a pair of tank raised neon gobies, longnose hawkfish, bicolor blenny, or possibly...

    FOTW - Trigger

So many words can describe these great fish. Beautiful, dog-like, hellish, smart, belligerent, and mellow are a few that come to mind. Their behaviors range from 'puppy dog tame' to demonic. No telling how many people have been brought into the saltwater hobby by the colors and personality of...

Who here is keeping Arothron genus puffers?

Nothing much more than the title. I've recently started to love this fish, but unfortunately don't have the room for one...yet. I was wondering what species is yours, what is it eating, what fish are in with it, how long have you had it, how big it is, etc. Pics would be great too. Thanks! Bo

    Blackedge Moray...

I'm looking to replace my recently departed sfe in my 75g. Only fish in there right now are a gold stripe soap (5") and a humu of about the same size. They have a nice blackedge moray at the lfs, probably 24", and FAT. It is a really gorgeous eel. From the teeth, it seems to be a piscivorous...
