Yes, people use metal halides as grow lights. The use different bulbs than used in aquariums, however they are still MH lights.

Cool, I will just give it some more time then get the bubble trap if its not where I want it to be.

Yep, My percs nip at my hand anytime I put it in "their end" of the tank.

I just recently purchased a CPR bakpakIIR(reef ready) skimmer. It seems that no matter what I do it puts a ton of microbubbles in the tank, they are coming through the skimmer outlet no the powerhead. I tried adding the supplied sponge to the outlet, but that dosent seem to help. There arent...
