Does anyone have an Aqua Medic SP 3000 Niveaumat top up system? If so, does yours make a clunking sound about half the time the pump starts up? Is there a fix? I'm on my second one having returned the original because it was so noisy. I'm trying to live with the noise but it's driving me nuts.

I just setup an Aqua Medic auto top off system for my tank. The problem is that the peristalic pump knocks when it starts which is every few seconds. Anyone have experience with this equipment? Any suggestions? Aqua Medic does not return my email requests for info! Thanks
