still cloudy, getting stinky

my mushrooms have almost all turned to mush or have been sucked into the filters. there are a few still clinging on that look like they may pull through. i am sure they will grow back from the bits still hanging around. my brain looks pretty dead but i will wait to make sure before pulling him...

the reef store has a good selection but they will tell you that you can keep anything in your tank. research before buying. i like leigh ann in edmond, she always gives good advise.

i just picked up a dragonface pipefish. he seems to be doing well. he/she is crawling around on my lr and eating well. has anyone kept one of these? how did it go?

i checked the picture under "pink cucumber" on this site. it is the same animal as the one i have. look to see if it has its "tenticles" out in the water, if it does it is eating.

i started adding corals fairly quickly. had good luck w/ various polips and mushrooms. not so much luck w/ brain coral.

i use di water from the lfs and i know she services her system regularly. i wipe off diatoms every night. ???

I have seen alot of people posting the contents of their tanks on these boards. Often others are warning that these tanks are overloaded. These tanks don't always seem overloaded to me. i have a 37 gal tank with.. a yellow tang, two damsels, a tomato clown, a diamond goby, a bunch of corals...

i get those little sponges all over my tank. they love it anywhere it is dark.

the other day i was cementing my frogspawn into my live rock and i was "attacked" by my cleaner shrimp. at the time i thought it was pretty funny considering their size. then i read that they clean people also. i think i might start letting my friends get manicured by my shrimp.
