    250 watt 4000 K MH came with my kit -- do I toss them?

    65 gal reef I just got 2 250 watt MH kits that came with 4000 K bulbs. if I go with alot of Actinic lighting will this help or do I need to throw the bulbs away and go ahead and get some higher kelvin bulbs? Other than the color what is the main disadvantage of this 4000 k bulb to the reef? :)

    I posted a topic thsat no one responded to, on a snail i found in my reef which I beleive to be a tulip it is 3/8 inch long and definitly is a univalve gastropod -- what I dont know is: How big is dangerous for a reef tank? Are all univalves gastropods preditors? Do you think I should get it out...

    found a 3/8 inch tulip snail in my reef tank - at least i think?

    I got it about three months ago in a bag of blue crabs. it vanished and i though it must have died. I found it tonight it is about 10 times the size it was. it is about 3/8 inch long defintly a univalve gastropod I think its a tulip but looks kind of like a conch too --- are all univalves...
