I'm looking for an external pump that pumps min. of 1000gph at 12 ft of head.

I would run Nitrex in one, phosguard in another and carbon in another then a fine filter pad in the bottom.

How do you like it?? What media and pads do you run from top to bottom in the trays?? Any mods to know about to make the unit better?? Likes/dislikes?? The overflow system that comes with it, the SOS unit, how does the skimmer part work in it?? I would like to have any input before i run it...

Get some chaeto from someone and rubberband it to a rock and drop it in the tank. That tang will eat that like a pig and it's also good for your tank.
