    Smallest Tank

I have a FOwLRLS tank and have had great success in it for the past three years. I have about 20 lbs of LR and 1.5" of LS. The tank is tough to keep at the right levels but it helps I've always used RO/DI water. I run really little filtration besides a bio wheel. Just move the water around...

Been a while since I've posted. Hello to anybody that remembers me :) Well, I'm finally getting around to getting a new tank. I'm looking to get between a 75-125 tank and really want to focus on the fish (with lr and ls of course) I'm a very DIY kind of guy and don't want to break the bank but...

    Is my Huma OK??

Salinty is avg. 1.23 or so. They don't 'hide' during the day, but they go NUTS at night...running all around, lifting up things, sifting throught the sand, scavaging for left over food, running everywhere, yes running!

    Is my Huma OK??

Sure do! I orderd the BIG 20 + from here, SWF. It comes with 20 Blue Leg Hermit, 20 Scarlet Hermits, 20 Turbo Snails and two Emerald Crabs. From that 'gourmet lunch' there are about 2 snails left, 10 scarlet hermits, and 18 blue leg hermits. That was ordered last month. Also I picked up a...

    Is my Huma OK??

I have my trigger tank right next to my desk. I'm a college student so naturally I'm procrastinating and typing up reports till 4 in the morning. Anyways, I get to experience my tank at night as well (I've hooked up red LED's that I can switch on at night. Enough to see what's going on but...

    HELP!! Huma attacking Clown!!

What size tank? How much LR? This is crucial... Also I've found that juv. clowns are VERY passive compared to smaller huma huma's. I would recommend getting rid of the Huma Huma is the problem persists.

$100 too much for Clown Trigger???

I think that is an ok price for the midwest. The prices should be coming down for us (during the summer). I paid $170 for mine two months ago and he was 2" then. I think SWF might be still selling them for $30 online tho....You should check that out. HTH

100 gal. is almost ready! Suggestions?????

Going along with what Lionfish said - If you do (and you should :D) a picasso and clown triggers stick with his size recomendation which is to get the clown slightly smaller than the picasso. This is *exactly* what I have right now. The interesting thing is that because the clown is too small...

POLL: What is your feeding schedule?

Just curious this rainy Chicago day... What do you feed your fish? What type of fish are in that tank? How often do you feed (once, twice, thrice...)? I'm looking for more options for my babies... I have a trigger/eel tank and feed frozen krill, silversides and clams and live guppies ghost...

    trigger ?

Yes two different fish! My LFS has two paired cross hatch triggers (a really docile fish IMO) and a pinapple at the moment. The pinapple is only about 3" and but all the cross hatches are 8". If I remember to bring my digicam next time, I take some pictures of these fish for you :) I haven't...
