OK, I have this guy fro a little over a week... and he doesnt do much, flops from his stomach to his back... Is this normal? He was hanging out onthe glass wheni first got im, now he is just hanging out onthe rocks. He keeps moving, usually after he sits inthe same spot for awhile... any ideas?

NO no no, the tank had already cycled.. its been up for about 3 months or so, I meant i let the tank take a break between fish.

ok i HAVE TESTED LEVELS AND ALL, THIS WAS MY THIRD BATCH OF FISH... LEVELS WERE ALL FINE FOR THE THIRD TIME, PUT THEM IN , WOKE UP IN THE MORNING THEY WERE ALL DEAD. sO NOW I HAVE CHANGED ALL THE WATER SCRUBBED TANK OUT, CLEANED EVERYHTING AND STARTED OVER. ANY IDEAS WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED ALL THIS?

Its pink. Levels are 0 nitrate, 0 nitite, 8.2 PH i believe and the ammonia is a little high.

It has been up for about 2 months..... I sent my DH to the store to get crabs and maybe some rock. Well there were 2 anemones attched to the rocks so he bought them. I dont really know alot about them. Also the lighting is basic ... it actually came with the ghood. we have one fish a damsel.

Hello, we just got some rock and 2 anemones. The woman said the lighting we have should be fine for them, I alwys though they needed alot of light..... Anything special they require?

Im not sure if this has anything to do with it , but were you aware that at night some tangs develop vertical white lines? I read that on a site all abotu Tangs, as I am interested in getting one.

Well I was thinking about a clown fish, maybe some crabs and shrimp or something. Something simple yet pretty. I have damsels in there now ..... why does the tank have to cycle, i am just not understanding this at all. :happyfish

OK , I will check on trading them in, how long does it take for the tank to cycle? How long should i wait before putting fish in?

Does anyone know where i can get the Seachem stabilizer that was mentioned in the earlier posts? I cant seem to find it. Also I am not sure i can trade fish in once they have been in my tank. Are damsels hard to maintain?
