Yeah PVC pipe is ok in an aquarium. I know someone who has a huge moral eel & they have a lg piece of PVC in the tank for him. He loves it & stays in there. We used to have a snowflake eel too but stupid me didn't secure the tank well enough & he commited suicide (got out :( Jennifer

You can use a tap water filter, but R/O water is the best, they say. We use a tap water filter & have for YEARS & it works great. If you don't filter your tap water then you will have terrible algae problems, speaking to you from years of experience. Algae is worse with regular tapwater because...
