I've got a finger leather attached to very small piece of LR and also on that LR it looks like there is an open brain growing and it's almost touching the leather. My question is there is probably less than a centimeters space between them could I break that LR rock to try to seperate them?

I had an Ice Cap 660 ballast that as been sent back once already now it's time to send it back again cause it keeps blowing fuses. I'm running 4 24" vho lights is there any other way to run them?

Agree with lion crazz, my sfe is in a 100g with puffer, yellow eyed tang, huma trigger, and what used to be a white tail trigger, but he was eaten by the eel. I think he was just a little to small.

So, you guys don't have a timer you just flip the switch on the ballast to turn the main lights on and off?

I have 12g nano dx. Has anyone figured out how to put the moonlights on a seperate timer than the main lights? Right now I have to remember to turn my main lights off 1 hour before the lights go off.

Looked up gorilla crab and that's excatly what it looks like. Are they harmful to other crabs (hermit crabs)? I'm thinking about cathcing it and putting it in a FOWLR tank.

Looking at my tank tonight and noticed a yellow hairy crab in my live rock. Tried to take a picture but couldn't get a good angle. There seemed to be spots on the body of it and it's pinchers looked sharp.

I buy all of my water from the LFS. Have never used tap water.

My trigger eats just about anything I put in there. Just the other night I put some seaweed select on the clip for my tang and the trigger helped himself.

I have got a whitetail and a humu humu trigger in a 100g with a yellow eyed tang....no problems. They were added at the same time.

Silversides are one of many that I feed mine. Doesn't seem to bother him.

I have got a dogface, porcupine, huma huma, and a whitetail. The puffers were added in there after the triggers and I haven't had any problems.
