long time no post, huh? sorry i havent been on, school's annoyin, anyway, my 10g reef tank is now 5 months old(w/ true percula, brittle starfish, coral banded shrimp)and i found a clam shell in it, what does it mean???

im thinkin of changin my 29g freshwater into a reef, im making a list of items, and then i come across the fuge, how do i light it? its demensions are 13.25"x4.5".12". it doesnt say how many gallons there are, how much lr/ls shold go in, and wat type of plants? plz help :help:

if i have a ro/di unit, lr and ls, and a fuge, do i need a filter or protein skimmer? :confused:
