    Gather them up and place them in tupperware bowl with sand and pebbles and either place in area with no current or place a screem mesh over them ( Inside the tank) till they get attached to some sand or pebbles which will weight them down

    Not sure how old your tank is but if it is 6 months or more I would just remove all bio balls for they tend to do a reverse effect after about 6 months and release nitrates into tank. I had mine in for 8 months and nitrates were always like 20 then I removed them and with in a few weeks nitrates...

    10% a week is most likely best though many of us dont do that I personally do 25% once a month
