Does any body know or experienced where you lost your tank to something like a hurricane etc and was able to claim it on you insurance? For I see it like at a minimum that the tank is like furniture just very expensive :notsure:

I had a little red slime buildign in my refrug so I treated the tank. By the next morning my skimmer was going mad making way to many bubbles and filling the cup in minutes had to cut the air flow way back this ever happen to any on else and how long does it last 3 days later still doing it...

My friends tank is being taken over by Sea Grape / Bubble algea is there something that will eat it or kill it?He didn't tell me his water specs so dont know if this type of algea is from Nitrates / Phosphates etc but boy do they spead.Any ideas?

I just upgrade from 4- 72in VHO total 640 watts to 3 - 250 watt mh with 20000k bulbs & 2 - 72 in bulbs vho still so total of 1070 watts . Tank is 150 gal so 7.1 watt per gal now . I have been running them for the last 4 days where the vho's come on in morning from 9 to 11 then the MH kick on...

I have a Naso Tang I have had for 4 months he's about 6 inches he eats like a mad man and no matter how much I feed him his belly always looks like it is pinched is this common or are there any suggestiong on getting him fatter looking. Thanks

On a 150 gal tank 6ft long would 2 MH 400 watt 14k do the trick with 2 VHO's as well. I am concerned that the 2 MH lights will not light the entire tank.Any one out the have just 2?

I have had my refrugium set up for a couple months and I notice wonderful growth of my caleriapa almost full 20 gal on 150 gal tank but I have not notice any drop in Nitrates. Does it take some time for the refrug to take effect on Nitrates?Or is there other macro that would perform better.
