    clown attacking my torch!!

    it's a maroon clown, he is hosting another anemone and also a large brain he isn't hosting the torch, i have never seen him go near it except to bite at it

    my clownfish has been nipping at the ends of my torch coral for a week or two now and the coral will not fully open up anymore. it looks like the clown has bit off some of the ends of the torches arms, it will barely extend at all, it there any way to stop this?? :help:

    i was really frustrated and had tried numerous things, chemy clean was the only thing that worked for me, i did it about 2 months ago and have had no problems since, just make sure you do the water change, and shut off your skimmer

    i had the same problem, then i used some chem clean, and no longer have the slime. you can get the powder at your local shop, it works. just follow the directions and make a significant water change
