I run my actinic lights 1 hour ahead, 1 hour after and during the "white lights" which are on for 8 hours. So far everything seems happy but I am experiencing a lot of brown algae in my sand.

Thank you everyone for the tips! I think what has happened is my mandarin ate all the pods I had and deleted the supply. I don't have a refugium which I probably will set up next but in the meantime I've contacted the source for the pods (thank you TheresaQ1) and will try the bloodworms too.

:help: Know what you mean about watching the mandarin gliding. I've never seen my get agressive but I'm worried he's not feeling well, maybe I'm not feeding correctly? What food do you get your mandarin to eat? :confused:
