found this little guy on the glass this morning. ofcourse the picture is crappy, but you can make out the underside of it a little bit. its white and about a 1/4 inch around, it has 3 big points, and 4 smaller ones. the legs are rounded, not sharp. :notsure:

i have hawaiian strawberry crab that lives in a cave. i've noticed my hermits keep depleting in number. well i sat and watched today and found out why... my purple/pink goby, picked up a hermit by the point of the shell, and drug him to the cave that the strawberry crab lives in. i peeked...

i've looked through the ID thread, and did not see anything like this. first, what is the green/olive candlewax looking stuff on my rock?( indicated by the blue arrow) second, at the bottom in the pink circle. it is white, tiny, and looks very much coral like, and has grown since i got the rock...

i just switched out my crappy CC for LS and i've got a snail that crawled off the rock and on to the side of the bucket... i tried to pull him off but it felt like i was gonna take the shell right off him so i stopped.... is there a special way to get him off the bucket? or was i doin it right?

how necessary is a skimmer on a 30 gallon fowlr tank? would it be more necessary if inverts were introduced to the tank? thanks.
