Can anyone tell me how you are supposed to cut colt coral. I do not want to do it the wrong way or in the wrong place. I have looked at fragging the beast but none of the pictures are showing so I have no clue. My colt is not very big but one of the stalks looks bad and I wanted to take it off.

I just got some live rock about 2 weeks ago and I have notice this grey bubble thing growing on it. Its really small maybe about 5 or 6 millimeters but it keeps getting bigger and taller as the days go by. Has anyone seen or know what this is?

I have had my tank going with the saltwater for almost 2 weeks. About 4 days ago I put the live sand. How fast will the ammonia, and nitrate/nitrite levels start rising. I checked them today and they are 0.25 witch is not high at all.
