You would want the fan blowing the cool air in. That way your not pulling out the hot humid air out over the fan and it will last much longer. Just have some holes on top for the air to escape.

I have a 250hqi over my 60 cube. I have a two fans blowing into the hood and one into the cabinet,and all is well. I rarely see temps at 82 or above.

If I was to keep the 60 cube I would concider that and get rid of this hob overflow. Thanks for fixing the link
