    150 with slow leak

I have a 150 that has a slow leak around the bottom seal. You can see/feel a bit of water around the rim. This has been there for awhile, at first I thought it was drip from cleaning but I have noticed it when I havent been doing anything in the tank so I know there must be a leak somewhere. My...

    starting over my 150 ideas

My 150 used to be home to a group of triggers which I found to be so messy and time consuming in terms of keeping up with the cleanup. When I moved the tank, I gave away my undulated, my bursa, niger and all else and decided to begin over with a deep sand bed and go with peaceful community fish...

    what causes popeye?

Is it true that popeye is caused by air bubbles in water? I read that here and was curious because my power head creates quite a stir of bubbles and this is a concern.

I have a 150 high tank and am planning on purchasing a few power heads for circulation. My question is what brands are reccommended most, the rotating type has had some mixed reviews here I see. Is a separate type of pump needed to "run" the power head? How do they actually "work"? I'd like...

I ran across an octopus today while on a run for krill at the lfs. They have him for like $33.00 and all it says on his tank is "Cephalopod". I am just curious if anyone can tell me what kind of octopus this could be. I have heard of the deadly blue ring and have seen pictures of those and he...
