I've always thought they were just compact fluorescent bulbs. Anyways, I have t5 compact fluorescent bulbs and I read that t5's need to be changed every 14-18 months but compact fluorescent needed to be changed every 6-9. Can someone please clear this up for me I am very confused.

Ok, I recently moved to a new place and need to get a new fish tank. I currently have a 58 gallon oceanic with hang on filters, a hang on protein skimmer, and some pc lights. In the tank I have a clown , damsel, cb shrimp, zoos, and mushrooms. I can't imagine ever wanting to do hard corals again...

sorry for the bad picture. but there have been small dots on my marron clowns head for about a week he acts normal and eats fine. I havent added anything to the tank for a long time.
