    new rose BTA

IMO its just getting used to your tank. when anemones excrete waste out of their mouths, its usually due to stress. keep an eye on it and watch you water parameters. looks like itl make it.

    Perc Stopped Eating. HALP!

I've been feeding my percula mysis shrimp for weeks and she has loved it. She used to eat the most out of everyone in the tank. Now when I feed her, she quickly pecks at the food, but never actually eats. If she does eat, she spits it out immediatly. Should I try different food? Any tips...

My RBTA and the Odd Couple

Here are a few recent shots of my Percula & Ocellaris pair. I was weary about puting the two together, but they have paired up right away. In fact, they just jumped in my RBTA last week. Tank is a 12 gal JBJ, lighting 70 watt MH. I understand the whole taboo to keep an anemone in such a...

Here are some shots of my 12 gal from last summer. Sad to say, the power went out one day in august, and the entire tank died out within a matter of days! Anyway, I know they are old shots, but its sunday and i'm wayyyy bored. enjoy FTS no flash blasto clown (rip) w/zoos

    Feeding Rbta

ok so i've kept the RBTA under 70 watts and it seems to be doing well. full arms, open all day, etc. i bought some krill frozen cubes. i thawed it out and found that it is all chopped up...would this be worth feeding my anemone? If i do feed it raw shrimp, how often and how much should i feed...

    Adding RBTA

sorry for all the posts... Would it be possible to add another RBTA to my tank if I already have a well established RBTA in there? Will there be conflict? The tank is 12 gal. Thanks ps perfectdark, if you're reading this, the 70watt is already doing wonders!

    Feeding Rbta

the man i bought it from has kept his RBTA in a 12 gal under the same lighting for 2 years. in fact, i bought one of his splits. he said i shouldnt be too concerned. if i do switch to MH, and have to do daily top offs, will the RO water effect the RBTA?
