i just put in 2 koralia 4 powerheads in my 55 gallon tank. is that too much flow for the fish? should i just run one? also there is green algae in the glass constantly. too much for the snails to keep up with. most tanks i have seen are crystal clear so how do i keep the algae off the glass?

i think i have some hair algae on one of my LR but its brown not green. its little hair like stems with what looks like a bubble at the top of it. help anyone?

got up this morning and its actually making some foam. its kinda green. not a lot but some. maybe its working now since we put the valve on it.

we got a valve for the air intake. my son got the wrong one since you cant adjust it. it made some foam for a bout a minute then quit.getting lots of tiny bubbles in the aquarium. why does my colurpa have white on the tips of it? is this bad?

i found one on craigslist for 30 bucks just wondering if it was worth it. my skimmer is new but doesnt work for some reason. the guy also has a sump and powerheads that i need so might be worth the trip just got get that.
