I recently set up a new 75 gal about 2 and half weeks ago. I started getting the usual brown diatoms and then it turned a yellow golden color that stretches up and waves in the current. Does anybody know what type of algae this is and will the clean up crew take care of it when i add them later?

I have recently upgraded to a 75 gallon. I currenty have a small yellow tang, clown, and singapore angel. Does anybody have any good suggestions on what else I can add and how many.

I have ich in my 29 gal. I have no qt yet so I bought a 10 gal, put all my LR in it along with snails and crabs at the same salinity and temp. I treated with coppersafe. WILL THIS KILL MY 40 LBS of LIVE SAND.

What are some fish for a 29 gal tank that are not prone to ich. I was thinking about getting a Flame Hawkfish and clown or black cap basslet. Does anybody have any good suggestions.

My tank is about 4 weeks old. I went through the brown algae, then this dark maroon that was only on my LR and now in the dark maroon there is a lot of bright purpleish pink starting to come up. Is this coraline?

I have a newly setup 29 galloon tank. I am new to the hobby and have not been able to set up a QT yet. What is the best way to treat ick in an established tank. If coppersafe is used will it harm your live rock, and will you ever be able to put a clean up crew back in once the ick is gone.
