Found mine upside down as well, then looked closer into the rock and it has split. I found 2 or 3 more of them in the back of the rock. Must be hiding out until it feels safe again??? Only had it 3 or 4 weeks and it was out the whole time until it split.

I am in the same situation, except I have had my percs for about 3 months. I also bought a green BTA and they will not host. Been 1 month now. Tried taping the picture as well.

Thanks... I was hoping it was coraline. haven't grown much coraline on my rocks, but I have 4 purple urchins and I think they are eating what little I am growing on the rocks.

Let me know what you think. And anyone know what the purple circles of algae are on the overflows? Are they coraline? I got all my livestock from SWF.com. they are really great.

I think I did it. Anyway, back to why I am posting. I got this brain coral and it seems to be eroding at the edges?? Is that normal? Always looked that way.

I have 4 purple urcins in my 120ga and I'm not sure if I should get rid of some/all of them. I haven't grown much coraline and my tank is about 3 months old. The water quality is fine and I dose w/ iodine and natural elements and change 10% water every week. My calcium level s always >450...

I bought some activate carbon from my LFS and some mesh bird feeder bags (cheaper to make your own bag than to buy the pre-filled bags). Filled the mesh bags w/ the activated carbon and placed in my wet/dry in an area of water flow. Cleared up the water in a day or so.

I am also confused by direct feeding. My moon doesn't have tentacles either, just small mouths w/in the cavities. I guess I'll just shoot some chili at it and hope the mouths get some??? A moon that eats whole silversides?
