IS it ok to get sand out of the ocean and put it in a SW tank for live sand????? Can i just go to the ocean like in florida and walk out alittle and get buckets of sand and use it as my live sand????

ok tell me if im wrong but is the most expensive part of a sw tank the lighting or is it just me. If im going with FO tank do i need an exotic light, or will a cheep perfecto hood do the job.

Hello im new to the salt water community and i just started on this site. I was just given a 150 gallon tank that was used for fresh water and i want to convert it over to salt water. Where do i start. And it is not drilled, should i get it drilled or just use something else. Please help
