Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

Another PH question, would 2 work better than one to give the tank better circulation? What I mean is, have one PH moving water in front of the LR and another moving in the back.

Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

Another lighting question, the kit I posted previously would work on Anemones as well? I'd prefer either the Bubble Tip or Sabae.

Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

I'm also looking at some powerheads to purchase as well and found this: http://www.fishtanksdirect.com/index...ROD&ProdID=121 Would 160 gph suffice for corals that need a strong water flow?

Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

I could put LPS instead of SPS, if that's what you mean. But as far as tank size and lighting, I'm working with limited funds.

Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

Ok, I now know I need better lighting, what I have currently is 65W and for 29/30g I'd need about 125-150W. Now to call the LFS to find out if they stock anything I could use.

Looking at a 29g saltwater tank.

Currently, this tank is freshwater, but I'm looking at converting it to a saltwater tank. I have an Emperor 280 filter and 10k lighting. What I'd like to start out with is LR/LS, a couple corals/plants, a clam, and inverts. I'm wondering though, would I need stronger lighting for the corals...

    50g Tall Stock List.

don't have one currently, but will make one. They are a very cool looking fish, so the extra time to breed will be worth it. Also, im looking at buying the tank in the next few weeks, still need to find a good stand to put it on, and decide on the filtering/lighting stuff. Filtering is easy...

    120g too big for house.

Lol... how about no... We have step stools in the house, but I doubt she'll use go out of her way to find one and double the time it'll take to feed the fish. I'm just going to get a smaller one, 45-60g. Cheaper on the bills as well...

    120g too big for house.

When I'm not home, I want my wife to be able to feed the fish. If it's too tall, she wouldn't be able to. I mght just get a large nano, 45-60g that's 36" long. I had some extra boxes and stacked them up to make it look like a 75g tank, looks way too big in that room, 36" looks good though...

    120g too big for house.

I dont want to get anything taller than my wife. So anything over 5' is out of the question. I'm talking about the stand, tank, and the canopy. Unless I can find a shorter stand... :-D I still want a 120g, which is 24", a normal canopy is around 12-20" right? So that means the stand has to...

    120g too big for house.

The 120g i was looking to buy is alittle too big for the house. The largest that I think would fit in the room is about 75g. NOw my question... is that too small for 1 yellow tang. I'd love to have 3 of those and one naso, but i know the tank would be too small. I'd perfer a 72g bowfront...

    Need lighting and filtration help.

Another idea, somewhat simpler... 2 long VHos on the back and from of the canopy, and 3 MH 250Watts in the center of the canopy, like this.

    Need lighting and filtration help.

Only problem with the Aquamedic lighting systems, they are not for inside canopies... Also, I'm not sure if you can turn on or off indivual lights. It looks as if it's either all of nothing with them.
