I was thinking...and i bet you could keep, if you got a port jackson shark at about 6-8" in a 300g aquarium with minimal rock for 1-2 years comfortably...why? because they grow 2-3inches a year. i dont kno. maybe not...but while we are on the topic...could you have triggers with sharks??

I put the frogspawn into my QT until my reef is setup. ammonia=0, rates and trites= 0, alk=180, hardness 120, ph 8.0~8.2...salinty= 1.023~4..all the other corals are just fine, my frogspawn when i put it in, opened up half way, then went back in, its been hiding for like 2 hours...i was watching...

I still am curious, i have a light now, but i dont know if it will be enough like for chateo. its the purple color flourescent 15w..how much lighting is usually needed for plants...

Well i have 2 marine glow and 2 power glow bulbs in my hood. they are 40w...it seems like they arnt that bright, but when the room is dim/dark, they are amazing. Any opinons, i dont really wanna change out my light sources, just the bulbs...would someone recommend 60w or even 80w?? It is mostly...

I decieded to build a refuge. i have a 180g tank, and used a 60gallon for a refuge/sump, also i have 2 chambers before it. I think i over killed on the filter setup, but itll probably help in the long run... drop off from main tank, into a microbag, then in the next chamber it has a protein...
