I just put two new anemone's into my tank yesterday. One of them planted itself right on the lower part of a rock where my brittle star is under. My brittle grabs on to one of the anemone's tenticles and pulls it...no response from the anemone. Any suggestions?

like said above, you dont' want to mix them. Most people, including myself, will recommend sand because it requires MUCH less maintenance.

IWhat about this: remove LR, sand, and 15 g of water from the tank and put it into a container (garbage can or bin) and then put a power head on the existing tank and keep the fishies in there. Any comments on this idea?

I have been ponder Sand Vs. CC for my 38 gallon for my SW Fish w/ LR. I just bought a bag of 40 pound sof CC cuz I didn't know any better; what do you think I should do? What are the advantages of going with Sand? Thanks, I'm really new to this.
