    Thank you for your help. I put him in about a week and a half ago and things started missing; shrimp, gobyj. So I was wondering. Store did not have any brittle stars so I got the serpant star instead. My mistake. Should have researched more. Thanks

    I have small "featherduster" looking growths in my rocks. It started with just a few now they are everywhere. When I try to pluck them out they retreat into the rocks. I was told once what the are and had heard of a fish that like to eat them. Any suggestions on getting rid of them

    Purple Slime all over rocks

    I have a purple slime growing in my tank. It is on my rocks, sand and has covered my sponge. I brush it off with a sponge but it keeps growing back. Any ideas on contolling it. It is pretty but it has taken over.

    Mushrooms are on the bottom of the tank. I have fought the Nitrate problem for months. There seems to be no ill effects to anything in the aquarium but I am continuing to work on it. Do you think it would help to move shrooms under a ledge.
