I bought a 50 gal bag of salt. And have been mixing to 2 days and the water still looks cloudy. The water that I mixed the instant ocean with is ro/di and I heated the water to 78 degrease. Has this happened to any one else? Thanks Jim

Upgrading my skimmer. I have a 300 gal reef a 50 gallon sump and a 100 refugium. The 300gal had allot of fish in it and have a large bio load. I want to upgrade my skimmer and I don't know what one to buy. To I decided to ask the experts. So what does everyone say?

I have a ASM G2 skimmer. I have used it about 9 months now. I was thinking turning the skimmer up so I get more waste in the cup. Has anyone ever tried this? Will it cause any problems with skimming?
