    the fish are really happy, they dont express any behavior that ive never seen. so far they dont bump into each other, they swim in and out of crevices in the lr. the starfish croaked today, what a waste of fifteen bucks. thanks everyone for all your help

    Anemone question?

    My son bought an anemone yesterday and added it to our newly purchased, (although established 17 years) 75 gal, everything testing great (nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, etc).....I dont know the name and he's not home. It wasnt expensive (15.00), the base is salmon colored and the tentacle...

    cleaner clam

    Did you check to see if they were alive in the first place? When you get them home put them in a bucket covered with salt water. If they open up and stick out a foot then they are alive. If they open up and ask for hot sauce then they are an aphrodisiac. :)

    We bought and moved an established 75g 2 days ago. We have a 17 year old lionfish (is this possible? its what the previous owner said...) blue tang and brown tang and @40lbs of lr. Our water is testing high for nitrates but nitrites and ammonia are testing at 0. I think the nitrates are high...

    Cleanup crew with lionfish?

    What kind of cleaners can I have with a large 17 year old lion? We bought the already-established tank, and the previous owner had NO cleaners at all. We need to change that, right? But I think he'll eat shrimp....so what are my alternatives? Thanks...from a total newbie:)
