hey guys i didn't know where to go or what to do. My tank is green. not green as in algae growing on the glass but green as in my water is turning green!?!?!?! anyone ever have this happen to them before or does anyone know how to get rid of it???

which algae or whatever the green stuff is do u put in your fuge to suck up trates... checked them today almost 50 ppm. i got a good hunk of chateo in there but should i add some of the other algae also i got a 65 watt dual atinic and 10 k blubl over my fuge maybe i need to add some more live...

ok guys here is my 411. i made my own overflow. The demi's are exact to a 600 gph u-tube overflow. i am using a 1700 rio... and here is my problem with my rio wide open and nothing blocking my drain tube to much air flows down the tube and it makes a burbing sound. if i block the drain...

ok i dunno know if you all condone this or not but i decided that in stead of buying the 50+ lb of live sand to put into my tank i went with 20 lb of live sand and went to the beach and got about 30 lb of beach sand. and i have to say my cycle went normal no serious spikes or anything of that...
